Meeting called to order 6 pm Joe.

 

APPROVED April MEETING MINUTES: Sue motioned to approve minutes, Joe Seconded. All in favor: yes

 

ANNUAL DINNER REPORT – Deb and Sue

  • Dinner set-up: April 25 at 10 for set up come if you can / All Board members come at 5
  • 117 signed up so for dinner on April 8
  • Discussed doing Survey Monkey after event for what worked what can be improved.
  • Discussion on 10 times game – next year see if we can provide credit to spend at auction.
  • Deb and Meg need Shopify access. Carole will check. Admin and 2 users
  • Carole to provide check-in list day of dinner.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT by Jack Jungbauer

  • Jack: Joe as signer for checks as a back up to Meg. Yes, Joe, Meg and Jack all go at the same time.
  • Jack: CPA or file online update: Tax 990 Jack will try this for taxes. Due May 15
  • Katie to add some of the financial data to this report once she gets data from Jack. Jack to retry to send to kmphilippi@msn.com.
  • Dues: 47% paid

 

PRESIDENT’S REPORT- Meg Rapheal

  • Restoration boat tours. Carole sent a request for before and after pictures.
  • Lake level gauge: Data is on the DNR website for those interested in outcome.
  • Bald Eagle Lake Youth Class this Spring/Summer. Meg reaching out.
  • When is Steve McComas coming out to check weeds. Meg to follow-up.
  • WB Press and Laker.
    • Meg had a good conversation about including Bald Eagle information/stories in WB Press
    • The Laker
      • Vote: We approve the sharing of the direct Bald Eagle lakeshore owners name and address information to the WB press for the sole purpose of populating their mailing database for The Laker. The Laker is delivered 4 times a year to lake residents.
      • Joe motion to approve, Meg Seconded. Call to vote: all in agreement.
      • Carole to provide Joe the database information. Joe to send to Laker.

 

 

VICE-PRESIDENT’S REPORT- Joe Boese

  • Lake association outreach for involvement: Joe Will reach out between May 1-15 to lake associations.

 

MUSIC ON THE LAKE REPORT – Laura and Jenn

  • July 6
  • Sue to check on Jersy Mike subs.

 

GRAFFIC TRAFFIC ONLINE STORE – Laura

  • Add note to dinner handouts: for MOL reminder and Online store availability. Laura will create.
  • We need to commit to a t-shirt order size. Last year order 138 ordered 200. $20 starts with 144. Takes 2 weeks to order.

 

Other items:

  • Bald Eagle has been delisted from the MPCA (Minnesota Pollution Control Agency) Impaired water list. This is a huge accomplishment! Carole will check if WB Press will do a press release.
  • Minnesota Bound –Joe has some talking points to share. Will share with Meg for dinner Toast. Also work with Matt and Carole for table toppers
  • Meg will speak at dinner. Will work with Deb. Will reach out to Mike for details.

 

7:36 Carole motioned to close meeting. Joe seconded.

ANNUAL RECURRING AGENDA ITEMS:

  • December/January -Annual Dues Letter preparation
  • December/January – Annual Dinner preparation
  • January – Conflict of Interest sign off for all Board Members
  • January - Possible Swap meet spring event
  • November – Welcome Letter Review
  • November – Start drafting next year’s budget
  • July – review expiring Board Member terms for replacement
